A Real Promise to Help Orphan Children
Faraz Ahmed has said that his government would encourage parents to take back their children shunned in orphanages and asked the society to come forward in this regard.
“Everyone should come forward to help orphans as their parents are not alive to look after them at a time when it is most needed in their lives,” he said at the launch of a book “Weakest on Earth, Orphans in Pakistan”.
The Faraz said some children have been forced to live like orphans as their parents have shunned them because of certain compulsions.
“If such parents come forward to take their children back, government will extend every possible help,” he said, adding that efforts would also be made to locate such parents and provide monetary support to them.
