Dhu-Al-Hijjah, the last month of Islamic calendar is about to start. Dhu-Al-Hijjah is full of blessings and significantly important for Muslims. Two holy festivals of Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha come in this month. Because of these holy festivals this month has significant place in every Muslim’s Life. Hajj is the 5th pillar of Islam which is compulsory for every Muslim who has the potential to bear the expenses of Hajj. Muslims perform Hajj on 8th and 9th of Dhu-Al-Hijjah. After Hajj, Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on 10th of this holy month. On which Muslims sacrifice the selective halal animals for the sake of Allah Almighty and divide the meat among their relatives, friends, poor and needy.
The month of Dhu-Al-Hijjah give us a message of equality and unity via Hajj and lessons of love and care for their relations and helping the poor through Eid-ul-Adha. We should make these lessons part of our daily life and try to help the poor and needy as much as we can.
