How The Noor Project is helping them fight poverty?
RASHAN DAY- At The Noor Project
A huge pool of poor families comes to The Noor Project to get their package twice a month. Our RASHAN-PACKAGE satisfies the need for a family consisting of 6 people for 15 days. We have made an assumption that in a country like Pakistan which is influenced by overpopulation, the average is 6 members per family.
The young members stand in the queue while the senior citizens are given much respect and honor. We make them sit in our offices; they are served with water and hot tea if they want. Our purpose is not only to give them what they came to receive but also we take a lot from them in the shape of prayers and blessings. Authorities from the concerned group make sure that none of them returns dejected.
Considering the respect of our senior citizens, we do not let them lift the sack. Our assigned person drives trolley of the sack to the place where they ask him to. After everyone is served, we mark entries for the next time.
The grocery department is the most significant part of our institution. We are currently serving 200 families and more families will become the part soon. Let’s join hands with us and help them fight against poverty. It is the matter of 200 families, in fact, 200 generations that can serve this nation and live their dreams. It is only possible with your support. Donate us, because something from you can be everything for those people.
