Our IT Workshop Success Stories
This blog post documents the account of a man, who, with the help of The Noor Project, was able to successfully complete the IT Workshop and find a relevant job in the field to support his family. Although this post only talks about one person, there have been countless others who have had the same success.
Name: Muhammad Abubakar
- Story: Muhammad Abubakar has successfully completed the Computer Course at The Noor Project. Prior to joining the course, he had suffered an injury in a road accident. His father had to sell their house and take a loan for his treatment. After recovering from his injury, he started work at Sunder Factory where he was earning 8,000 rupees a month, which was not enough to repay his loan and support his family. Our organization provided him a platform to learn computer skills and provided him a stipend twice a month. After he completed the computer course, he managed to get a better position at Sunder Factory as a computer operator and increased his salary to around 30,000-35,000 rupees a month. Now he is able to support his family and repay his loan. He is a true example of what our organization strives to achieve in Pakistan.
