Our Beauty School Workshop Success Stories
This blog post documents the accounts of three brave women who, with the help of The Noor Project, were able to successfully complete the Beautician Workshop and find relevant jobs in the field to support their families. Although this post only talks about three women, there have been countless others who have had the same success.
Name: Asia BB
- Story: Asia has successfully completed Noor Beauty School and is now working in Depilex Beauty Clinic as a Beautician. She comes from a poor family of four brothers and three sisters. Her father is a paralysis patient and her mother is a housewife. Two of her brothers were factory workers and were supporting the entire family after her father became paralyzed. But after a couple of years, they suffered a cocaine addiction and stopped working. This left the family in a very bad situation. Asia’s mother was very uupset. Asia noticed the Noor Project advertisement and decided to take part to help her family overcome their struggles. She now earns 35,000 rupees monthly and is helping her family. She is a great example of true motivation.
Name: Fiza Qasim
- Story: Fiza is a successful student of the Noor Beauty School and now runs her own beauty parlor after working for one year at ASMA-T Beauty Parlor.
Her father had passed away and her mother was working as a maid to support their family. However, due to the low income, and was not able to meet the family’s needs. Fiza saw an advertisement for free courses offered by The Noor Project and decided to join to help her family. After completing the beautician course, she got an internship at ASMA-T beauty parlor for three months, after which she was hired full time. She worked for one year at ASMA-T and decided to open her own beauty parlor. She is doing very well and is helping her family overcome their financial situation. She is a true inspiration to all of us.
Name: Faiza Liaqat
- Story: Faiza is a successful student of the Noor Beauty School and now runs her own beauty parlor after working for one year at Maria-B.
She is an only child who lived with her dad. Her mother had passed away and her father was unemployed. She was very upset because of her situation and decided to do something about it. She saw an advertisement for free courses offered by The Noor Project and was motivated by her best friend Saira to join. After completing the beautician course, she worked at Maria-B. After working there for a year and a half, she was finally able to open her own beauty parlor. She is now helping her father by supporting the family. Her story is a great source of motivation.
